CME FX Wraps Up Another Record Breaking Month

CME FX continued its momentum in March 2007 with a record $80 billion in daily liquidity and average daily volume of over 658,000 contracts traded, up 42 percent compared with March 2006. Electronic FX volume on CME Globex averaged a record $73 billion and 590,000 contracts per day, up 56 percent compared with the year-ago period. During the record setting month, CME also set record volumes in electronically-traded FX options and 12 individual futures contracts. Free Real-Time Quotes on FX American-Style Options

CME offers free real-time quotes on five of the recently listed FX American-Style Options. Quotes are now available for CME British Pound, Canadian Dollar, Euro FX, Japanese Yen and Swiss Franc options contracts.

In response to increased foreign exchange market volatility, CME has added the following listings for CME Globex customers:

CME Adds Dynamic Listing of Out-of-Current-Range Strike Prices for Selected FX Options

On Monday, March 26th, CME added dynamically listed options strike prices for selected CME FX options. Under the new procedures, customers may request the listing of an out-of-range strike price at regularly defined strike price intervals, and CME Trading Floor Operations will list such strike price for trading that same day.

Cancel Your Orders by Telephone via CME TeleSTAT
New functionality is now available via CME TeleSTAT, the automated telephone system for CME Globex users. Customers may now cancel all orders and obtain working order status for individual traders with a unique Trader ID and account.
