About CME NASDAQ-100 Options
Contract Size The size of one CME NASDAQ-100® options on futures contract is one CME NASDAQ-100 futures contract. CME NASDAQ-100 options are listed three months in the March quarterly cycle and two serial months. The contract moves in increments (ticks) of 0.05 index points or $5 per contract. Strike prices (price at which the options contract can be exercised by the holder) are offered in 5-point intervals for the nearest contracts and 10-point intervals for deferred months. Underlying Index The NASDAQ-100 Index represents the largest non-financial U.S. and international issues listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. Index holding represent companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology. It does not contain financial companies (including investment companies) and uses a modified capitalization methodology to provide enhanced diversification.
