About CME E-mini NASDAQ-100 Options
Contract Size The size of one CME E-mini NASDAQ-100® options on futures contract is one CME E-mini NASDAQ-100® futures contract. CME E-mini NASDAQ-100 options are listed out two months in the March quarterly cycle and two serial months. The contract moves in the following tick increments: 0.25=$5 if premium >3.00; half tick or 0.05=$1.00 if premium =3.00; cab of 0.25=$5.00. Strike prices (price at which the options contract can be exercised by the options holder) are offered in 5-point intervals for the two nearest contracts and 10-point intervals for deferred months. Underlying Index The NASDAQ-100 Index represents the largest non-financial U.S. and international issues listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. The Index represents companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology. It does not contain financial companies (including investment companies) and uses a modified capitalization methodology to provide enhanced diversification.
