Earlier Opening Time for GSCI S&P GSCI™ futures and options on futures were introduced in 1992. The Goldman Sachs Commodity Index® is a world production-weighted commodity index comprised of liquid, exchange-traded futures contracts. It is designed to provide investors with a reliable benchmark for investment performance in the commodity markets comparable to the S&P 500® Index for the stock markets. - New Electronic Trading Hours for Legacy-CBOT Agricultural Products
Effective January 13, 2008, legacy-CBOT agricultural products will transition from e-cbot to the CME Globex
electronic trading platform. With this transition, electronic trading of these futures and options contracts will open
30 minutes earlier at 6:00 p.m. and will open on a simultaneous, rather than staggered, basis.
