CME Commodities now trade electronically virtually 24 hours a day.
Commodity futures and options traded on the CME Globex® electronic trading platform are now available virtually 24 hours a day. Trading extends from Monday at 9:05 a.m. Central Time (CT) through Friday at 1:30 p.m. with daily hour long trading halts at 4:00 p.m.

Extended hours enhance electronic trading opportunities for all market participants: speculators, hedgers, brokers and liquidity providers.
