The New Release Certification Environment reflects the next release of the CME production environment, including functionality and messaging. Customers use this environment for development and certification for new functionality. Functionality is launched in the New Release Certification Environment six to eight weeks prior to the production launch.

New Release Certification Environment features:

• Weekly window for production-level order entry and market data replay
• Straight-through processing from CME Globex to CME Clearing
• Simultaneous front- and back-end systems testing.
• Support for mock trading sessions during the week
