The Electronic Trading Committee developed a number of new initiatives to successfully bridge the gap between open outcry trading and electronic screen-based trading. One of these initiatives is the CME Globex® Learning Center (GLC), which encompasses three areas and focuses on education, training and electronic trading. The on-site center replicates an electronic trading room simulated real-time trading courses at its numerous workstations, electronic mock trading sessions.

Although the GLC is restricted to CME members, member and member firm employees, and Exchange staff, course registrants of CME's classroom courses have the opportunity to visit the GLC and Information Resource Center to the start of their scheduled class.
