To Order PC-SPAN  
Orders for PC-SPAN ® or SPAN ® Risk Manager are handled through SWReg:

SWReg accepts payment via Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and other credit cards, either online or by phone or fax, and also accepts payments via PayPal, ACH, wire transfer or check.

When you purchase PC-SPAN through SWReg, you can choose either electronic delivery, or electronic delivery plus CD-ROM:

  • In either case, electronic delivery means you will be able to download the software immediately.
  • If you also choose to receive the software on CD-ROM, we will ship it to you via express shipment.

In either case, within several days of your purchase, you will receive an
e-mail from us with your user ID and password for our PC-SPAN Software Distribution Web Site. When software maintenance updates are available, you will be notified by e-mail, and you will be able to download the updated software from this site without charge.

The base prices for electronic delivery are $500 for PC-SPAN and $3,000 for SPAN Risk Manager. The additional cost for receiving the software on CD-ROM is $35 for express shipping to U.S. destinations, and $50 for express shipping to destinations outside the United States.

Minimum System Requirements  
The download for PC-SPAN is about 11 megabytes in size. PC-SPAN requires any modern version of Microsoft Windows — Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, or XP. You will need about 50 megabytes of free space to be able to install and use the program. Thirty-two megabytes of RAM is an absolute minimum (64 megabytes or more if you're using Windows NT, 2000, or XP). Adding more RAM will greatly improve performance.

The program also requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher. It doesn't have to be your default browser, or the only browser installed on your PC. The most current version of Windows includes Internet Explorer — if not, you may download the latest version from the  Microsoft Web site for no charge.
